THE GENESIS

Pimpinicchio New York was born from a collision of two worlds: the heritage of Spoleto, Italy, and the grit of New York City.

Founder Francesco Pimpinicchio trained at the Academy of Costume and Fashion in Rome, cutting his teeth designing for Italian heritage brands before moving to NYC in 2019. But the vision was never just about bags. It was about survival. It was about creating something that protects you.

Growing up, I faced bullying for my dyslexia and my identity. I learned that to survive, you need a thick skin or a strong shield.

PMPNY is the physical manifestation of that strength. Every chain, every asymmetrical line, and every heavy metal detail is designed to make you feel protected. When you carry PMPNY, you aren't just carrying a bag.

We reject the idea that luxury requires suffering. PMPNY is strictly animal-free, utilizing innovative plant-based materials like Pineapple Leather to create textures that rival traditional hides without the cruelty.
